Tue, Jun 16Langley Studio - Address will be emailedJoin us at this small group session with a tree of your own, or you can buy a ticket that that includes a tree from us. At the session we will help you make a design plan for your tree and to complete the seasonally appropriate tasks for developing your bonsai.
Sat, Jun 20Darts Hill Garden -Maple Activity CentreThis is a hands-on course where you can make your first bonsai with all the materials provided! It’s a fun and interactive time, with all the steps demonstrated so it is easy to follow along. Students will do a transformation on a young and flexible tree and walk away with their first bonsai.
Wed, Jun 24Timms Community Centre - Room MPR1Learn about bonsai and make your own in this guided activity! The workshop will feature a broadleaf evergreen species, similar to boxwood but with small white flowers in the springtime. You will do a first styling to shape the tree into a bonsai. Bring your gloves and everything else is provided!
